President Donald Trump is throwing another gala for top TRUMP (CRYPTO: TRUMP) coin holders, and history says holders may want to watch the exit, not just the invite.
The official event page confirmed the dinner takes place at Trump National Washington, D.C., with invitations going to the top 185 registered holders and VIP access reserved for the top 29.
Trump will attend as featured speaker alongside three unnamed “legends,” with qualification based on time-weighted holdings, meaning both the amount held and how long it’s held count toward the ranking.
The final snapshot lands Nov. 12, and the top four VIPs receive an 18-karat gold Trump watch. No private meetings with Trump are included this time.
As Benzinga reported previously, the first TRUMP dinner in April 2025 sent the token from roughly $9 to $14.40, a 60% jump, before it eased back to $13.40.
The price had already slipped to $14.25 by the following day’s dinner, then fell more than 14% to $13 within 24 hours.
Decrypt’s review of Solscan wallet data found only eight of the top 25 VIP wallets still held TRUMP the day after the dinner, with many transferring tokens to exchanges shortly after the snapshot.
The second gala in 2026 showed an even sharper drop in enthusiasm:
On the Mar-a-Lago event day itself, TRUMP price fell to $2.53 during Trump’s speech, down roughly 16% from the prior evening.
The project disclosed plans on July 15 to deploy, sell, or otherwise monetize up to 9.6% of total token supply from already-unlocked inventory over the following months, a disclosed plan rather than confirmed selling, but one that raises a real supply question that could offset any buying tied to gala qualification.
The event terms add another wrinkle, with VIPs who drop below their snapshot holdings before Nov. 22 losing bonus rewards while still keeping their dinner seat.
That gives qualifying holders some incentive to hold through the snapshot, though nothing stops them from selling once the rewards stop outweighing the payout from exiting.
TRUMP coils into a tightening symmetrical triangle Thursday after a sharp spike-and-fade from the $3.74 September high.
Price sits squeezed at the apex near $2.02 to $2.07, with EMAs flattening into classic pre-breakout compression.
