Synergia Energy, Asel Engaged in Technical Talks for New Well at Indian Onshore Project

07:39 AM EDT, 10/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Synergia Energy (SYN.L) said it has been in detailed technical discussions for the past several months with joint venture partner Antelopus Selan Energy, or Asel, about a planned new well in the Cambay production sharing contract in onshore India. The C-79 well will be vertical or deviated and will incorporate hydraulic fracking in the Eocene reservoir, according to a Thursday release. The current estimated spud date is late November. The London-listed developer of carbon-neutral gas production projects holds a 50% working interest in Cambay PSC.
