Oracle Power Submits Mining Plan for Gold Project in Australia

06:18 AM EDT, 10/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Oracle Power (ORCP.L) submitted the mine development and closure proposal for the Northern Zone gold project in Australia, the final major governmental regulatory approval required before mining operations can begin. The UK-listed energy project developer said Thursday that the plan was submitted to the Western Australian Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration on Wednesday. Oracle Power said future mining operations at Northern Zone will be fully funded by MEGA Resources under a 50/50 right-to-mine and co-operation agreement. The deal has been extended by 12 months to Sept. 30, 2027, to allow additional time to secure permits.
