Nokia, Iceye Enter Partnership to Develop Broadband Satellite Communications Systems

04:26 AM EDT, 10/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nokia (NOKIA.HE) will collaborate with satellite maker Iceye to develop satellite communication systems, according to a Thursday release. The Finnish telecommunications equipment company said the first communications satellites are expected to launch in 2028 and will provide targeted, high-throughput connectivity over priority mission areas. The partnership will also include the development of ground infrastructure and ruggedized end-user terminals.
