According to monthly data from the Norwegian Road Federation, electric vehicles accounted for a record 98.8% of passenger cars registered in Norway last month. Automobile sales increased 30.7% year on year in September. The market reversed the downward trend at the beginning of the year and was 1.7% higher than the level at the end of September 2025. Tesla returned to the top of the sales list after a two-month hiatus, accounting for 26% of total sales for the month; Toyota ranked second with 7.1%, and Volkswagen ranked third with 6.3%.
