The project is located in Gonghe County, Hainan Prefecture, Qinghai Province, with a total installed capacity of 1 million kilowatts. It consists of a 900,000 kilowatt photovoltaic power plant and a 100,000 kilowatt molten salt tower photothermal power plant. The photothermal mirror field is equipped with 10,310 heliostats, with a total lighting area of about 500,000 square meters. Tens of thousands of mirrors work together to gather solar radiation energy into the heat absorber on the heat absorption tower, heat molten salt, and then use the stored heat to generate steam to drive the steam turbine generator to generate electricity.
