Bank of Communications (03328) exercises redemption rights for 2021 secondary capital bonds

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Bank of Communications (03328) issued an announcement regarding 10-year secondary capital bonds (current bonds) issued by the Bank with a scale of RMB 30 billion in the national interbank bond market.

According to the relevant provisions of the prospectus relating to the issuance of current bonds, the issuer has the right to redeem the current bond, and the Bank has the right to redeem part or all of the current bonds at one time on the last day of the 5th interest-bearing year of the current bond (that is, September 27, 2026, due to a day off, fund payment was postponed until September 28, 2026, the first working day thereafter) at face value.

As of the date of this announcement, the Bank has exercised the right of redemption to fully redeem the current bond.
