Muse could be a huge hit

Meta's new AI agent app quickly surged to the top of Apple's rankings for the most-downloaded free iPhone apps in the U.S. Users are intrigued by Muse's ability to perform tasks like managing email, shopping, and making travel reservations.

With its intuitive design, Muse could see rapid uptake by a sizable portion of the social media giant's 3.6 billion daily active users.

New hardware could accelerate Muse's growth

Meta also debuted a slate of new devices that integrate with Muse at its Connect 2026 event on Wednesday.

Meta's new AI glasses will allow people to talk to Muse and have the AI agent take action based on what they're looking at. Partnerships with Shopify, Walmart, and a host of other retailers, travel sites, and digital payment companies add to the devices' usefulness.

Meta VR Glasses go even further to include "a personal cinema, courtside seat, workspace, and gaming console." The lightweight virtual reality glasses are designed to deliver immersive experiences from IMAX, Disney, and other entertainment leaders. They can also serve as a personalized workstation by allowing users to turn any flat surface into a keyboard and touchpad.

These intriguing new product launches are making investors more bullish on Meta's prospects in an increasingly AI agent-driven world.
