(SASE:2222), d/b/a Saudi Aramco, tapped Evercore as an adviser on its plan to spin off its gas operations, Bloomberg News reported Sept. 26, citing people familiar with the matter. A standalone gas division could be valued over $100 billion through fresh investment, an initial public offering, or a minority listing. Boston Consulting Group also advised Aramco on the planned restructuring as part of Project Gamma. Saudi Aramco did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
