NCC Wins SEK1 Billion Deal to Build High-voltage Power Lines in Sweden

05:25 AM EDT, 09/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- NCC (NCC-A.ST) secured a 1 billion-krona construction contract from state-owned power grid operator Svenska Kraftnät for high-voltage power lines in Västra Götaland, Sweden. The Swedish construction company will build 70 kilometers of 400-kilovolt overhead power lines between the Breared substation in Halmstad and the Horred substation in the Mark municipality, according to a Friday release. Work is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2029.
