Kazera Global Secures $1.7 Million Payment via Execution of South African Mining Right

04:06 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Kazera Global (KZG.L) said Thursday that South Africa's Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources executed the mining right over the company's Sea Concession 2A, triggering a $1.8 million advance payment. The execution of the mining right in the Northern Cape completes the key regulatory process after its award to the investment company's Whale Head Minerals unit on Sept. 2, enabling the development of the heavy mineral sands project. South Africa AT Investments will make the advance payment to the subsidiary against future production as part of a long-term mining cooperation and production sharing agreement, following a $750,000 advance payment in July.
