On September 22, the Greater Bay Area Hydrogen Energy Comprehensive Application Pilot Urban Agglomeration Work Deployment Conference was held in Guangzhou. During the pilot period, the urban agglomeration will promote 16,000 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and build 100 new hydrogen fueling stations. In addition, Guangzhou launched the “Greater Bay Area Hydrogen Vehicle Highway Toll Concessions and Mutual Recognition Proposal”. The proposal proposes drawing on the pioneering experience of Hubei, Hainan and other provinces and cities to promote Guangdong, Fujian, Hunan and other provinces within the urban agglomeration to introduce relevant policies to give hydrogen vehicles that meet the conditions exempt from highway tolls; rely on the construction and layout of hydrogen refueling stations in national zero-carbon road transport corridors to gradually reduce terminal hydrogen costs to less than 25 yuan per kilogram; explore the establishment of a cross-provincial mutual recognition mechanism for highway toll concessions in the five provinces of urban agglomeration to take the lead in opening up inter-provincial policy barriers and create a model model for hydrogen energy high-speed corridors in the pilot urban agglomeration.
