The Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology recently jointly issued the “Jiangsu Zero Carbon Park Construction Implementation Plan” to simultaneously launch the provincial zero carbon park organization declaration. The plan sets clear development goals: by 2030, the province will cultivate and build about 10 provincial zero-carbon parks. The green energy structure of the park will continue to be optimized, a green and low-carbon industrial system will be basically formed, and energy carbon management capabilities will be significantly improved, forming a number of replicable and promoted empirical practices; by 2035, a zero-carbon industrial ecosystem with parks as the main position will be initially built, and the international green competitiveness of the industry will rise dramatically.
