On September 17, the Housing and Construction Department of Jiangsu Province issued the “15th Five-Year Plan” Urban Renewal Special Plan of Jiangsu Province. The “Plan” clarifies six major tasks and 14 key projects, and also proposes two types of ten support measures to provide programmatic guidance for future urban renewal work throughout the province. By 2030, 10,000 dilapidated urban housing units will be renovated; construction will be started to renovate 1,500 old urban neighborhoods, 420 urban villages will be renovated, and 1,000 complete communities will be cultivated...
