Potential Celsius Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:CELH) shareholders may wish to note that the CEO & Chairman, John Fieldly, recently bought US$494k worth of stock, paying US$27.44 for each share. While that's a very decent purchase to our minds, it was proportionally a bit modest, boosting their holding by just 1.9%.

Celsius Holdings Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

In the last twelve months, the biggest single sale by an insider was when the Chairman Emeritus, William Milmoe, sold US$2.5m worth of shares at a price of US$62.50 per share. We generally don't like to see insider selling, but the lower the sale price, the more it concerns us. The good news is that this large sale was at well above current price of US$27.22. So it may not shed much light on insider confidence at current levels.

In the last twelve months insiders purchased 56.93k shares for US$1.9m. On the other hand they divested 42.88k shares, for US$2.6m. In total, Celsius Holdings insiders sold more than they bought over the last year. The sellers received a price of around US$61.75, on average. Insider selling doesn't make us excited to buy. But we note that the selling, on average, was at well above the recently traded price of US$27.22.
