Ageas Finalizes Exit from Maybank Ageas JV

01:35 AM EDT, 09/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ageas (AGS.BR) completed the sale of its 30.95% stake in Maybank Ageas Holdings BHD to its partner Maybank, marking its exit from the joint venture. The Belgian insurance company sold the stake for 1.1 billion euros in cash and expects a net capital gain after tax of 464 million euros from the transaction, according to a Friday release.
