07:27 AM EDT, 09/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BofA Global Research raised its price objective and earnings estimates for Legrand (LR.PA), citing data center momentum and strong peer order trends through 2027. "Legrand does not disclose data centre orders, with management citing relatively short lead times of 6 to 10 weeks. That said, the recent triple-digit order growth reported by ABB [ABBN.SW, ABB.ST] Electrification and [Schneider Electric (SU.PA)] Energy Management points to continued market momentum into 2027," analysts said Tuesday in a note focused on the capital goods sector. "Importantly, we believe these orders still reflect traditional AC power architectures, with little or no contribution from hybrid (sidecar) or full DC (800V or ±400V DC) deployments. Legrand is also a late-cycle beneficiary in data centres, with management noting on its latest earnings call that sales typically occur only a few months before a facility becomes operational," the note said. Consequently, the research firm raised its full-year 2027 and 2028 organic growth projections by 1 to 4 percentage points, driven chiefly by a stronger North American data center outlook. Analysts also raised their price objective to 138 euros from 121 euros. BofA has an underperform rating on the stock, noting that the company's portfolio is still "less exposed" to critical trends in the data center market.
