NCC Partners with Swedish Fortifications Agency to Develop New Artillery Regiment Base in Sweden

02:00 AM EDT, 09/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- NCC (NCC-A.ST) partnered with the Swedish Fortifications Agency to plan and develop a new artillery regiment base on the Harberget site in Kristinehamn, Sweden. The facility will cover a 211-hectare area with 40 buildings and will be used for basic military training, the construction company said Tuesday. A total of 350 armed forces personnel and 250 conscripts are expected to be employed upon completion. NCC is proceeding with the first phase of the project, comprising project planning, construction blueprints, costing and budgeting. Construction contracts will be signed in the next phase before the start of production.
