In the first eight months of this year, China's various foreign trade players were active. Private enterprises imported and exported 19.79 trillion yuan, an increase of 17.6%, accounting for 56.9% of China's total import and export value, and continued to maintain the position of the largest foreign trade entity. In the same period, imports and exports of foreign-invested enterprises amounted to 10.15 trillion yuan, an increase of 18.1%; imports and exports of state-owned enterprises amounted to 4.77 trillion yuan, an increase of 16.9%. Lu Daliang, director of the Statistical Analysis Department of the General Administration of Customs, said that China insists on building a modern industrial system through open cooperation. More and more foreign-invested enterprises are deeply integrated into China's industrial chain and innovation chain, “create together with China”, and embrace “China's opportunity 2.0.” In the first eight months of this year, there were close to 80,000 foreign-invested enterprises with import and export records in China, and foreign-invested enterprises continued to lead the import and export growth rate.
