CIMC Enric reports that on the afternoon of September 6, Guangzhou's Lantau anchorage completed the first domestic bulk carrier green methanol filling operation. The Sinopec CNOOC “Daqing 268” ship, carrying 1,021 tons of pure bio-based methanol, relied on green methanol products produced by CIMC Enric's Zhanjiang plant to successfully complete ship-to-ship refueling for the world's first methanol dual-fuel Ultramax bulk carrier. This operation is also the first time that Guangzhou Port has launched a methanol ship-to-ship filling business, marking that Guangzhou Port has officially achieved a “zero breakthrough” in green methanol supply capacity.
