South Korea's official agency said on Monday that due to strong demand for semiconductors, South Korea's exports to India surged more than 30% from January to August this year compared to the same period in 2025. According to data from the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Corporation, South Korea's exports to India increased 30.8% year-on-year from January to August, reaching US$16.8 billion, compared to US$12.84 billion in the same period last year. In the context of India's industrialization promotion, Korean semiconductor companies and manufacturers of materials, components, and equipment continue to expand their presence in the Indian market.
