Six departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently jointly issued “Opinions on Promoting High-Quality Development of Historic Classic Industries”. Opinions were put forward to speed up enterprise classification and cultivation. Support classic famous enterprises to become better and stronger, accelerate the cultivation of individual champion enterprises in the manufacturing industry, and promote the construction of a number of world-class classic brands. Guide small and medium-sized enterprises to improve and deepen, encourage high-quality enterprises to apply for specialized, special and new “little giant” enterprises, and support the inclusion of eligible enterprises in the scope of special funding support for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises at the provincial level. Support workshop-style and family-owned enterprises to introduce modern production technology and management methods, accelerate the improvement of industrial design capabilities, and promote optimization and innovation of traditional processes.
