Rifaquinone (TNP-2092) is the world's first novel drug under development with a three-target mechanism of action developed specifically for infections in implanted medical devices. Based on this proof of concept data, a multi-center phase IIb clinical trial has been approved by the China National Drug Administration, and the trial has recently commenced.
