On September 5, Guangzhou Dajialu Food Industrial Co., Ltd. issued an information note on the Guangzhou Panyu Tianhe City store incident: In response to the recent incident of some consumers feeling unwell after meals at the Guangzhou Panyu Tianhecheng Store, we extend our sincerest apologies to the affected consumers and families. After receiving the relevant complaints, the company attached great importance to and fully cooperated with all investigations. According to preliminary investigations, the consumers involved all ate “egg fried rice” that day. The relevant government departments arrived at the store as soon as possible to carry out investigation and evidence collection work. Currently, the disease control department has completed sending samples of personnel, environment, and related food samples for inspection. The relevant testing and investigation work is ongoing, and the cause of the incident has yet to be officially determined. During this investigation, under the guidance of relevant government departments, we have fully implemented the relevant control requirements of the stores involved, and have suspended the operations of the stores involved.
