According to the “National Emergency Plan for Natural Disaster Relief”, in response to the serious impact of the recent typhoon and extreme heavy rainfall on Fujian, the National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Commission and the Ministry of Emergency Management upgraded the emergency response level for Fujian's national natural disaster relief to level 3 on September 5, dispatched additional disaster relief teams to the disaster area to check the disaster situation, and guide and assist local authorities in disaster relief work such as basic livelihood security and post-disaster emergency recovery.
