The volcano continues to erupt and the phenomenon of a “lava fountain” has occurred. Currently, the volcano remains at level 3 “alert” after the highest level. The Indonesian Geological Research Institute reminds the public not to carry out any activity within a 3-kilometer radius of the crater.
