At the end of the European market on Friday, ICE British natural gas futures rose 1.03% to 179.830 penns/kcal. The cumulative increase this week was 6.73%, and fluctuated at a high level for most of the time. TTF benchmark Dutch gas futures rose 1.29% to 72.418 euros/megawatt-hour, rising 9.24% this week. They continued to rise at the beginning of the Asia-Pacific session from August 31 to September 2, and continued to return gains thereafter. ICE's EU carbon emissions trading license rose 0.47% to 83.40 euros/ton, up 1.45% this week.
