Hubei Energy (000883.SZ) signed an agreement with the Enshi State Government to deepen cooperation on clean energy projects of about 8 billion yuan

According to Zhitong Finance App, Hubei Energy (000883.SZ) announced that on September 4, 2026, the company signed a “Deepening Cooperation Agreement” with the Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture People's Government (Enshi State Government for short). It plans to invest about 8 billion yuan in clean energy and upstream and downstream industrial chains in Enshi Prefecture during the “15th Five-Year Plan” period to build a number of scenic water storage and integrated energy projects. Among them, the Linxi River hydropower project has a total investment of 2.08 billion yuan, with a total installed capacity of 185,200 kilowatts; the new energy project is planned to be built 1 million kilowatts.

The company signed this agreement with the Enshi State Government. By establishing a long-term cooperation mechanism, making full use of their respective advantages, the company will jointly promote the development of scenic water storage and integrated energy projects, which is conducive to further strengthening the company's ability to guarantee the energy security of Hubei Province and is in line with the company's strategy and development plan.
