The Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Planning and Natural Resources issued the “Shanghai Land Space Recent Implementation Plan”. It points out promoting multi-directional collaborative development between Shanghai and surrounding regions. The North Wing strengthens collaborative ecological protection at the mouth of the Yangtze River and jointly builds a collaborative zone for industrial innovation and green development at the mouth of the Yangtze River. The west wing enhances the north-south radiation of Hongqiao, gives full play to the leading role of the Shanghai International Science and Technology Innovation Center, and improves the layout of the science and innovation space. The South Wing coordinates the construction of corridors along the bay and across the bay to strengthen the linkage between hubs such as the Oriental Hub. East Wing accelerates collaborative innovation and development of the marine economy, promotes a rational division of labor between Shanghai Port and other ports, and strengthens joint protection and management of the marine ecological environment.
