The Zhitong Finance App learned that on September 2, the Tencent WorkBuddy Open Platform was officially launched, covering more than 20 fields such as medical care and finance, and the first phase of opening the five major ecological capabilities of Buddy applications, experts, skills, connectors, and hardware. The first batch of Yidu Technology (02158) clinical evidence-based smart “Yidu Smart Follow” Skill entered the WorkBuddy Medical AI workbench.

Yidu Technology and Tencent have previously reached a multi-dimensional strategic cooperation. This is a further deepening of the ecological cooperation between the two sides. With Workbuddy, a general AI work portal, Yidu Zhixun's professional medical evidence-based ability can reach doctors and professional users in a lighter skill form, opening a new entrance for evidence-based abilities to enter more AI task scenarios.

From independent products to professional skills, make evidence-based competencies transferable medical competencies

Agents are changing the way humans interact with AI.

In the past, users needed to actively enter independent applications to find corresponding abilities; in the Agent era, tasks can be dismantled and different skills can be used to complete them according to actual needs. For an industry such as medicine, which has a high professional threshold and clear boundaries of responsibility, it is even more necessary to participate in vertical competencies that have undergone professional construction and verification.

Yidu Zhixun Skill has now joined the WorkBuddy Medical AI workbench, providing professional medical evidence-based capabilities.

Yidu Zhixun is an evidence-based intelligent decision support system built by Yidu Technology based on years of medical data governance and AI capability accumulation. It targets doctors' clinical diagnosis, treatment and scientific research needs, integrates core technical capabilities such as large model semantic understanding, medical knowledge maps and evidence-based knowledge RAG, and selects massive clinical guidelines, high-quality medical literature, and drug knowledge bases to establish a complete set of “problem understanding - evidence retrieval - reasoning generation - result traceability”, and refers to international evidence-based grading systems such as GRADE to achieve “traceability of sentences and verifiability of conclusions ” solved the doctors' actual pain points of “difficulty in finding evidence, slow reading of literature, and high cost of cross-language searches”.

Yidu Zhixun has now launched the WorkBuddy medical AI workbench in the form of a lightweight skill plug-in. Healthcare workers can quickly use it on the WorkBuddy platform without complicated local deployment to complete tasks such as medical evidence inquiry, guideline interpretation, assisted diagnosis and treatment, risk assessment, etc., and turn clinical-level evidence-based capabilities into easy-to-use office intelligence tools.

Professional abilities can be mobilized, and the medical AI ecosystem is opening up

This time, the first batch of Yidu Zhixun Skills entered the Tencent WorkBuddy medical AI workbench. The meaning is not only to add a new distribution portal, but to further standardize and modularize the evidence-based capabilities that have been accumulated over a long period of time, so that they can be used as needed by different platforms, different agents, and different workflows.

Since this year, the company has continued to promote the modularization and standardization of medical intelligence capabilities. The AI platform is compatible with the two new standards of the MCP model context protocol and the Skill modular skill paradigm, and supports the combination of medical knowledge, large model capabilities, and professional tools to quickly build medical intelligence in different specialties and scenarios. At present, Yidu Technology has collaborated with medical institutions and experts to create more than 280 specialist scenario agents, covering scenarios such as medical record generation, assisted diagnosis and treatment, risk assessment, and patient education.

In hospitals, Yidu Zhixun can be combined with clinical applications such as the intelligent clinical assistant Copilot and embedded in doctors' workstations and diagnosis and treatment processes; outside of the hospital, Yidu Zhixun directly serves doctors through products such as apps and applets; now, with Zhixun Skills entering Workbuddy's medical AI workbench in the first batch, its professional capabilities are further extended to the open agent ecosystem.

From products and platforms to skills, what changes is how professional competencies are mobilized and distributed. Medical AI is gradually moving from “users actively searching for an application” to “agents calling appropriate professional abilities according to tasks”; what remains the same is the high requirement for professionalism, trustworthiness, and verifiability in medical scenarios.

Future medical AI will probably not only have a “super entrance”, but a large number of medical skills that have been professionally constructed and verified in real scenarios, and can collaborate flexibly in different agents, terminals, and workflows. For Yidu Technology, this entry is also a further exploration of how to open up capabilities — transforming long-term medical knowledge, evidence-based capabilities, and scenario experience into more standardized and reusable competency modules, so that credible medical intelligence can enter more entrances and serve more professional scenarios.

When professional medical capabilities can be safely and accurately dispatched and used, medical AI will also advance from simply “providing answers” to a new stage of “supporting the completion of professional tasks.”
