On September 3, the 325,000-DWT methanol dual-fuel ore tanker “Yuanhai Silk Road” successfully left Pier 3 of Yangzhou COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. in Jiangdu District, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, and carried out maritime test activities via the Mangdao River and the Yangtze River to relevant waters. The “Yuanhai Silk Road” ship was jointly designed by COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industries and the Shanghai Shipbuilding Research and Design Institute. It is 339.9 meters long, 62 meters wide, and 30 meters deep, which can meet the ocean transportation needs of bulk materials.
