Daido Group (00544) announced interim results. Net loss of HK$35.53 million narrowed 6.5% year over year

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Datong Group (00544) announced results for the six months ended June 30, 2026. The group's total revenue for the period was HK$74.75 million, a decrease of 2.41% year on year; net loss of HK$35.53 million, a decrease of 6.5% year on year; and a basic loss of HK$0.74 per share.

During the period, losses were mainly due to (i) a decrease of approximately 50.8% in the food and beverage trade and sales business in mainland China, mainly due to the Group's strategic reallocation of business priorities during the period to strengthen its refrigerated warehouses and related services business; and (ii) a decrease of approximately 81.4% in revenue from non-recurring other services.
