According to bond market insiders, South Korea's Ministry of Planning and Finance plans to reduce the scale of government bond issuance in September. Treasury officials said at a first-level dealer meeting on Monday that the total issuance scale of treasury bonds will be lower than the August level, and the amount of 30-year treasury bonds issued will also be lowered. Market participants expect the competitive tender scale for September treasury bonds to be 16.5 trillion to 17 trillion won, of which the 30-year treasury bond issuance scale is approximately 2.5 trillion won.
