Aker Solutions Partners with Microsoft on Carbon Management Projects

06:35 AM EDT, 08/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Energy-focused engineering group Aker Solutions (AKSO.OL) and technology giant Microsoft (MSF.F) signed an agreement to develop and accelerate carbon management projects worldwide, according to a Monday release. The companies will collaborate with project developers, industrial companies, governments, and other stakeholders to reduce project risks and advance carbon capture and storage and carbon dioxide removal projects toward final investment decisions. For selected projects, the companies will provide engineering and execution support to help developers grow from the feasibility stage into operations.
