International oil prices rose slightly on the 21st. Light crude oil futures for October delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose 23 cents, or 0.26%, to close at $87.06 a barrel by the close of the day; London Brent crude oil futures for October delivery rose 61 cents, or 0.65%, to close at $94.39 a barrel by the close of the day.
