The Zhitong Finance App learned that on August 21, Tongcheng Travel (00780) issued an announcement stating that it had completed the proposed acquisition of Tick Tick Travel (02559). According to the announcement, Tongcheng Travel received a total of 910,755,954 validly accepted shares, accounting for about 88.74% of Tick Tick Chuxing's total issued share capital. After the acquisition is completed, Tick Tick Travel will maintain its brand and operational independence. Tongcheng Travel said it plans to seek to maintain Tick Tick's Hong Kong stock listing status unchanged.
