07:20 AM EDT, 08/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AlphaValue/Baader Europe revised its price target and estimates for A.P. Møller - Mærsk (MAERSK-A.CO) following the Danish shipping giant's second-quarter financial results and upgraded full-year 2026 guidance. The sell-rated stock's price target was lifted to 18,876 Danish kroner from 12,844 kroner, as the projected EPS for 2026 was increased to $320 from $6.54, alongside higher EBITDA and EBIT forecasts, according to a Thursday note. "The increase in the target price reflects the revision of our estimates and the positive effect on the NAV and DCF valuations. In addition, we have increased the estimated dividend for FY2026," the research firm said. "Our 2027E EPS forecast has also been upgraded, reflecting higher average freight rates than previously assumed. We expect freight rates to remain supported by resilient container demand, while persistent congestion and constraints across landside infrastructure could limit available capacity. However, continued fleet growth remains a potential headwind." Moreover, analysts noted that valuation remains challenging, as it is still "difficult" to evaluate the impact of the company's ongoing return to the Suez Canal route.
