According to Woofun AI, in the market rebound led by BlackRock (BLK.US), Bitcoin took 77% of the $1.3 billion cryptocurrency fund growth, establishing a dominant position.
According to data compiled by Woofun AI, in these three trading cycles, the average daily asset under management (AUM) of Bitcoin-related ETFs was US$334.7 million, which is about 4.1 times the historical daily average of US$81 million shown by Farside. The average amount of assets managed by Ethereum per day is approximately $96.4 million, which is about 4.3 times the average value of $22.6 million shown. Solana's average assets under management are around $1.4 million per day, or about 24% of its shown average of $5.6 million. These data suggest that while Bitcoin attracted most of the funding, Ethereum also participated in this price rally. Solana's recent performance is still far below its own average.
Bitcoin capital inflows are mainly focused on three products: BlackRock (BLK.US)'s IBIT (IBIT.US) brought $588.5 million to the market from August 17 to 19, Fidelity's FBTC (FBTC.US) brought in $198.2 million, and ARK 21Shares' ARKB (ARKB.US) introduced a total of $116 million in these three trading cycles, including a single day on August 19 There was an inflow of $77.7 million. BlackRock (BLK.US)'s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) (ETHA.US) brought in $2127 million in funding for Ethereum-related products over these three trading cycles. Among Solana-related products, Bitwise's Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) brought in $7.2 million between August 18 and 19, while Grayscale's Solana Trust ETF had an outflow of $3.1 million on August 19, which was largely offset by an outflow of $3.1 million.
It should be pointed out that this comparison has an important limitation: the number of products recorded in each table varies, does not provide overall managed asset size (AUM) data for each product, and may not cover all cryptocurrency ETP products in the US. For example, Morgan Stanley (MS.US) launched its Ethereum Trust and Solana Trust as early as July 28, but these two products don't currently appear in Farside's related fund flow tables. Therefore, comparison through historical averages can only roughly reflect the development speed of various products, and cannot be used as an accurate demand indicator after adjusting the size of managed assets. In these three trading cycles, both Bitcoin and Ethereum grew significantly faster than their historical daily average, while Solana's growth rate was still below its own average.
