Deere: Fiscal Q3 Earnings Snapshot

The Moline, Illinois-based company said it had net income of $5.10 per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $4.79 per share.

The agricultural equipment manufacturer posted revenue of $12.61 billion in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $11 billion, also topping Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $10.81 billion.
