Schaeffler, CATL Join Forces to Develop Battery Management Systems

The companies plan to develop battery management systems tailored to European automotive manufacturers and Integrated PowerBox technologies that allow the combination of high-voltage electronics with electromechanical systems, according to a Thursday release. The German motion technology group will contribute its expertise in hardware and software development, system integration, functional safety, testing, and validation, alongside European series production.
