03:32 AM EDT, 08/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- CleanTech Lithium (CTL.L) said Thursday that its counterparties in the deal for the acquisition of 23 mining concessions at Laguna Verde in Chile agreed to reduce the total consideration for the transaction by $21 million. Under a recently signed settlement and amendment agreement, the sellers agreed to trim the total cash consideration to $14 million from $35 million. In addition to amending the terms of the transaction, the latest deal resolved all historic financial and legal disputes between the parties. Aside from cash, the Chile-focused lithium exploration and development company will also issue a total of 6.6 million new shares in three equal tranches, based on certain milestones, as part of the transaction.
