Samsung Foundry recently updated its technical blueprint at the SAFE Forum 2026 and adjusted the 1.4 nm mass production schedule. It is currently forecasted that mass production is scheduled for 2029, and the relevant target will be about a year later than TSMC. Samsung Foundry initially issued a press release announcement in 2022, mass production of 2 nm in 2025 and mass production of 1.4 nm in 2027.
