According to the Zhitong Finance App, Crazy Sports (00082) announced that the Group expects a comprehensive net loss of no more than HK$38 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026, and a consolidated net loss of about HK$12.1 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025 (same period last year).
The increase in losses during the period was mainly due (among others) to an increase in the Group's other loss expectations for the period compared to the same period last year. This is due to the expected fair value loss of approximately HK$16 million in fair value financial assets during the period, compared to the same period last year, of about HK$7.8 million in fair value gains from financial assets confirmed to be counted as profit and loss at fair value. Notwithstanding the above information, the Board believes that the Group's overall financial, operating and business conditions (including cash flow) remain healthy. The Group continues to firmly focus on the “digital+sports+entertainment” core circuit, and has made steady progress in sustainable development through the in-depth layout of the two major strategic directions of AI-enabled digital sports and entertainment platforms and game IP going overseas. The Board is optimistic about the Group's long-term growth potential.
