Leading Edge Materials Raises CA$4 million via First Tranche of Private Placement

03:49 AM EDT, 08/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Leading Edge Materials (LEMSE.ST) said Wednesday it raised CA$4 million through the issuance of 16,032,000 common shares priced at CA$0.25 each, completing the first tranche of its CA$6 million private placement. The shares were issued as part of a unit offering, with each unit comprising one common share and one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant entitles holders to purchase one additional common share at CA$0.40 each within two years of the private placement's closing. The critical raw material assets company intends to use the proceeds to advance its projects in Sweden and Romania, as well as for corporate purposes.
