According to Zhitong Finance App, China Electric Power (02380.HK) announced that on August 14, 2026, Xinyuan Smart Storage (a subsidiary company not wholly owned by the Company) signed a BESS procurement contract with Xinjiang Shengyuan as the seller. According to the contract, Xinyuan Smart Storage will provide a fully integrated battery energy storage system for the Hami North project, including required equipment materials and related services, at a cost of RMB 115 million (approximately HK$132 million).
