Técnicas Reunidas Accepts Letter of Intent for $1.65 Billion Middle East Onshore Gas Development Project

11:33 AM EDT, 08/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Técnicas Reunidas (TRE.MC) accepted a letter of intent for a $1.65 billion project to develop onshore gas facilities in the Middle East. The Spanish engineering and construction company will build the facilities required for the reception, processing, and export of gas produced at the field under the proposed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning contract, according to a Thursday release. The deal will be signed on a lump sum turnkey basis.
