As part of the supporting measures introduced last month to curb the retail ETF investment boom, South Korea has required retail investors to complete a simulated trading course before trading individual leveraged exchange-traded funds since August 19. The Financial Services Commission of Korea issued an announcement on Wednesday stating that in addition to the original three-hour risk management course and the minimum entry threshold of 30 million won, investors must also complete at least five rounds of simulated trading, each of which lasts no less than one hour.
