Turkish Grand National Assembly Speaker Numan Kurturmush announced on the 5th that a draft bill aimed at laying the legal foundation for the complete dissolution of the Kurdish Workers' Party and its armed forces has been officially submitted to the parliament. According to a report by Turkey's “Liberty” newspaper, the draft suggests that after the Turkish security agency determines that the Kurdish Workers' Party and all organizations associated with it have ceased to exist and have surrendered all weapons, the ongoing relevant investigations and prosecutions, as well as the execution of the conviction judgments already made, can be postponed or suspended.
