Yemen's Houthis issued a statement today saying that they used multiple ballistic missiles to attack a Saudi oil tanker located in the Red Sea on the same day. The statement said that since the ban on maritime shipping was announced on July 22, the Houthis have attacked a total of 8 Saudi oil tankers; another 29 Saudi tankers have been forced to change routes or return. The statement also said that as the Houthis strengthened the maritime blockade of the Mander Strait, Saudi Arabia has begun to adjust the tanker routes to the northern Red Sea.
