Kioxia released the KIOXIA GP1 series PCIe expansion card, optimized for direct GPU access and random IOPS reading of up to 10 million. This series of SSDs uses KIOXIA XL-FLASH second-generation flash memory to enable flash-based memory expansion to meet the growing performance and memory requirements of artificial intelligence infrastructure. Evaluation samples will be provided to some customers by the end of 2026.
